I have 2 questions, how do you get the shadows to look so even & nice? How do you use the dodge & burn tools on Adobe Photoshop CS 2?

Yeah I used the burn and dodge tool, but sparingly and usually at low intensities. I just pain with different opacities of color and different brushes for effect. I always have a reference too, which I usually get from stock photo galleries somewhere.
